Many landscapes are just perceived as “filling empty areas between buildings, housing developments, highways and urban centres, or being vague sectors capable of managing themselves”. PORTFOLIO NEWS

CANADIAN LANDSCAPE PORTFOLIO INITIATIVE

THE CANADIAN LANDSCAPE PORTFOLIO IS NOW ONLINE

We are finally there, almost exactly a year after the Canadian Landscape Charter signature in Mexico City, the Canadian Landscape Portfolio first edition in now online and accessible to all.

After receiving close to 200 submissions from all across Canada, we are now able to visit all those different "Significant Landscapes" expressing how we experience the change of the seasons, the harshness or tamed beauty that surrounds us.

You are now invited to explore and appreciate those sites perhaps known, perhaps surprising, but always central to our lives - because, as stated in the Canadian Landscape Charter, all landscapes are important...

Have a good visit...
