Many participants found the permitted number and localization of the submissions to be a little restrictive. One important goal for the Portfolio first edition was to be representative of the largest number of landscape architects from across the country and to propose some personal "significant landscapes" from their province or territory. In the end, your submissions are your favourite places, sites. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have some very significant, other favourite places across the country. So I came to the conclusion that submissions could be showing sites located outside of your respective province or territory and since we could have more than two (2) favourite places, submissions could exceed the original limit of two. The general conditions being modified, we also decided to extend the submission period to February 29 so that everyone had the opportunity to profit from the changes.
